Screen orientation (Portrait or Landscape)
The main screen of Screen Recorder Pro has fixed orientation of Landscape or Portrait.
Screen Recorder Pro uses notification service to control the recording process.
After launching the service you can start to capture the current screen immediately or start any app for purpose of capturing, the orientation of captured screen must follow the same orientation as orientation layout of the main screen of Screen Recorder Pro
This orientation sync feature is advantage of Screen Recorder Pro because it allows you to have time for preparing or selecting the app for capturing.

When use service to control the recording process, then the stopping the recording is a problem, because all visible components (Buttons) of service are hidden while recording.
- Stop by small green blink circle : it appears on the bottom right side of the screen - you just tap on to stop the recording
- Stop by notification drawer: Open the notification drawer and tap onto button(X) to stop the recording
- Stop by shut off the screen
- Stop by shaking the device
- Stop by timeout : You can modify the time value (measurement unit is in seconds)
Guide of use
Launch Screen Recorder Pro to show main user interface (UI). From here you can do following
- Setting up all options from menu Settings
- You could choose a music file for background
- Reviewing captured MP4 files or screenshot images files
- Eventually you can start the notification service for controlling the recording process by tapping the Button "Start Service". When the service is running you can see 2 big circle buttons - Screenshot button and Start Recording button. You can also see other view components as red arrow, front camera and small green blink circle for stopping if they are enabled in settings.
Beside that, you can see all the program icons and you can also launch any program as usual, because the interface of running notification service is a transparent layer against the screen of android device
- If you don't like to make recording you can stop the service here by drag and drop one of the buttons into the circle for exit at the bottom of the screen
- If you have started the recording process, than you can stop the recording by one of the methods mentioned above and the notification service also will self stop when the recording is stopped
About Media Projection
Media projection tech solves the problem of recording and capturing device’s screen, but since it was introduced in lollipop version of android therefore as of now it cannot be used on android OS version lower than 21.
Operation schema
* Launching Screen Recorder Pro
+ Choose the mode (click checkbox MODE LANDSCAPE/PORTRAIT)
+ Start service (press Start service button)
-> Choose app (or screen) to record with suitable layout (portrait or landscape)
-> Start screen recording or taking snapshot
The recording process . . .
-> Stop the screen recording
+ Stop service (by green point, by shaking, etc)
